Our Oval Shaker Boxes are made one at a time in a humble one man shop on a small island in Maine's Kennebec River. The cherry wood bands and the top and bottom are cut and formed individually for each box, thus no two boxes are exactly alike.

Following the shaker tradition the set of 5 oval boxes were designed for their practicality to fit inside each other for storage. Almost anything can be stored in these durable containers.

Our oval shaker boxes are constructed using cherry wood bands and birch veneer tops, along with solid copper fasteners and hand cut wood pegs for securing the tops and bottoms. Finish sanding may be needed depending on your desired finishing requirements.
